Bambazonki, in some sense the opposite of Funazonki. Bamba zonki seizes everything, funa zonki wants everything.

Seattle, Folk-Life Festival, what else can I say? Hey, everyone's having a great time. This was on the way to a country-dance gathering, which just seemed go right along with it. More pictures later.
Meaning of Bamba zonki. "Bamba" = "grab", "take", maybe "hold" - "zonki" = "everything" also "what's left". Zonki also means "as well" as in "zonki lo" = "that as well".
Funa means want or desire, "mena funa wena" "I want you".
So Funazonki wants everything, Bambazonki takes everything. Used to be people from Bulwayo were known as funazonkis, they were always wanting something. People from Salisbury were bambazonkis, they were always taking everything.
This of course is modulo my Chilapalapa (also known as fanigalo and other less civilized names) which may be a trifle eccentric.
