Gets me back to the subject of collective nouns. I came across a whimsical list that included such things as

A flight of yesterdays

A promise of tomorrows

Plus some obvious vocational ones such as

A number of mathematicians

A flush of plumbers

I would be tempted to add

A compilation of programmers

An arrangement of operators

A debacle of databases

A cache of computers

A crash of windows...
